Atlanta: The Village TapMonday, February 11th, 2013
Can you pass the mac n’ cheese, please? The Village Tap in Atlanta, GA is a southern restaurant with a very old fashion feel to it. They serve family recipes such as fried chicken, pork collard greens, sweet potato pie and much more finger-licking food. Did we get your mouth watering yet?
Order a jar (yes a jar) of the “ Not Your Daddy’s Old Fashioned” cocktail with orange bitters, simple syrup, black walnut, mixed with a bit of bourbon and topped with a flamed orange. They also serve up a variety of draft beers on tap to quench your thirst.
The Village Tap is fairly new to the Buckhead area but is already a local favorite that makes visitors reminisce of the old times.
