Easily one of my favorite ice cream sandwich places in SoCal and VERY fairly priced! I don’t usually like ice cream sandwiches ( I love just plain ‘ol ice cream) but if I ever wanted an ice cream sandwich, I’d get it from here. I’m from UCLA and live minutes from Diddy Riese but I can pretty confidently say now after trying it for the second time that CREAM is far better. I went here because I was craving ice cream and it was literally downstairs of the building my sister lived in. SO CONVENIENT!
Anyways, the woman helping me was very upbeat and sweet. I sampled a few flavors which were all good but was bummed that they didn’t have any of the almond flavor ice cream left. I settled with White Chocolate Mac Nut and Red Velvet cookies with a scoop of salted caramel ice cream. The first thing I immediately noticed was that the cookies were WARM! It was priced at about $3– a dollar or so more than Diddy Riese– but worth it! The cookies were really good but the ice cream made it worth it. I’m not sure what brand they use but it definitely tasted more rich and better quality than DR.
Though the sandwich was good, it was on the heavy side. I definitely recommend splitting one sandwich unless you have a big sweet tooth. Otherwise, the sandwich came in a small baggie and melted quickly especially since the cookies were warmed up. I really wish they put them in cups so you could scoop the ice cream that melted and such.
