This vegan restaurant is fairly new in Sobe. We wanted something healthy and different from the normal burger and steaks so we said, why not. Let’s give this place a try and it didn’t disappoint.
There’s something special about Elmer’s. By the looks of the restaurant and the menu, you’d think you just found a local version of Denny’s.
Real good. There’s a reason Peter Luger is such a longstanding institution. Don’t you dare fill up on bread though. The place has a very old-school vibe, with fairly austere wooden tables, a menu that doesn’t really change, waiters in bowties and white aprons, all in a Bavarian beer hall setting.
My family and friends decided to surprise me for a belated birthday dinner at Komodo. Since this is the owner of LIV I wanted to see how this gastro-club atmosphere would pan out and I was not disappointed.
They don’t joke around with their steaks…We got the bone-in Rib-Eye as well as center cut Filet. They were cooked Perfectly and they were Flavorful… The flavors were truly heavenly…. The rib-eye was aged for 40 days.. How do they do that I wonder? I have seen some serious wine lists but this place had some outrageous prices, but again they have the clients that would buy these wines so I guess it is not too weird to see a $12,560 bottle of wine on the list.
This is a funky and fun diner for lots of tourists and still a reliable hangout for locals. The Big Pink menu is diner styled and there’s all day breakfast, giant shakes, lots of salads and sandwiches and a long list of comfort food goodies.
Yee Haw, oh yeah the best steak EVER and fantastic service to boot. Please don’t hesitate to make a reservation at Hawsmoor, you will NOT be disappointed. The service is second to none, friendly and attentive without being overbearing.
I don’t usually like ice cream sandwiches ( I love just plain ‘ol ice cream) but if I ever wanted an ice cream sandwich, I’d get it from here.
I’ve been to the STK in Vegas and wasn’t all that impressed. Needless to say, my experience was exactly the same in New York. I had a reservation for a group of people and the whole group wasn’t there for our reservation time, so we lost our table.
Started off with the Conch Ceviche as our appetizer. Very fresh conch that was well balanced with cucumbers and red onions. Curious to see if their other ceviches are just as delicious as their conch.
